Zainas photography is very unique she captures many aspects of the world that i think is important to her. Her photographs are simple, yet the photos always put out a strong message. I think her best photos come out when she photographs in black and white. It creates a simple yet very creative enviroment that allows her to get across the message she wants to portray. I think the quality of her photos are top notch and you can tell she works hard to edit her photographs to perfection.

my favorite series that Zaina did was when she photographed random people on the street. it captured many diffrent aspects of peoples personalities. They best part was the viewer was able to create what emotion was being expressed in the photograph because we did not know the people in the photo.

Alastairs photography is very interesting, it captures peoples obvious expressed emotion as well as thier hidden emotion. she comes up with very interesting concepts to photograph. she uses unique props and creats situations which ends up making for a one of a kind photo. As a photographer Alastair brings profesionalism, passion and pride in her photography she is never afraid to tell someone if she thinks there doing something wrong or if they could improve themselves.

My favorite series Alastair did was when she photographed people doing various things with an umbrella. It was a very creative and unique shoot which i think described her style of photography very well.

Portrait description

When I first started taking these portraits i wanted to try to capture peoples hidden emotion, i made my models stand infront of the camara with the least ammount of emotion possible. This created a series of very akward portraits that showed a diffrent aspect of peoples emotions. I also started experimenting with the backrounds, first i started shooting against a brick wall and then moved on to lockers. Although, my favorite backround is a plane white backround. I like the simpleness of the backround and think its helps bringout the person features and emotion.
